Manor Farm Women’s Only Social – 11th – 13th November 2022

Arriving at Manor Farm Winters lake on the Friday morning, all the girls had a chance to meet each other ready for the walk round… Once we had the go ahead we took a lap of the lake to see if we could see any carp and give the girls a good idea of the swims and what water they commanded.

We then went back to the social area ready for the draw. The draw had taken place and every one was mega happy with where they ended up… so the fishing began! We were told it had been fishing hard and slow the previous week so we were in for a challenge.

With Winters lake holding a few 30s and numerous 20s the girls were buzzing to get some fish on the bank!

Lillian kicked started the social landing a mega koi and from then, it only got better for everyone…

Nikki smashed her session, landing THREE new personal bests of 30lb 14oz, 32lb 10oz then 32lb 14oz … and them not being the only carp of her weekend!

The Saturday night everyone gathered at the social swim and we had Pizza’s, drinks and music!

Majority of the lake caught, and there was smiles all round.

I attended the Manor Farm ladies only Carp Fishing Social in November 2022, the venue was fantastic and being a lake exclusive meant we had the whole lake to ourselves.  The weekend gave us plenty of time to fish in our pegs as well as give us the opportunity to come together, catch up on how the session was going and make new friends.

There was a mix of abilities of ladies that attended, everyone was really friendly and there was always someone to ask for help should anyone need it. There was also professional photography at the social to capture any fish that were caught during the event.  It was great to be out on the bank with other female anglers who share the same passion and interests and I would definitely recommend attending future events.
