Norton Disney Billy’s Lake Social – September 26th – 28th

Arriving at Norton Disney on the Sunday mid morning, a group of anglers left who done a match and they really struggled and had 5 fish out over the whole weekend, this dampened our mood a little knowing it was going to be a struggle, but put it this way, the girls smashed it out the park!!!

The draw took place at Norton’s lodge, a watercraft draw, this meaning the girls could chose where they wanted to fish (the fairest way in my opinion).

Once done, everyone set off to get there kit out there car and ready for a few days fishing.

Just one hour after getting the rods out Peg 1 (Danielle) was into a fish… the action carried on after this throughout the whole social! In 48 hours there was a total weight of over 600lb caught!

I visited Norton Disney for a 48 hour ladies social on Billy’s lake and what a great venue for social. Everyone was so welcoming and anyone is willing to lend a helping hand. These socials are great for meeting new like minded people and getting to socialise throughout the weekend. The facilities at Norton Disney are great and we were able to reel in on a night and have a social with the girls at the lodge. Meeting all the ladies on an evening was great to see how everyone was finding it and how they were getting on. While at these socials you will meet great people and overall have a good laugh and make many memories.  Throught the weekend Lauren was on hand to take pictures of any catches and always willing to help anyone if it was needed. Overall a great weekend and would definitely recommend!

I have attended a number of the ladies socials, they are always impeccably organised, food has been mega when supplied as part of the package and atmosphere is always buzzing. Highly recommend for all no matter your age or experience level. Super supportive environment. Great vibes. Made some friends for life from all over the country!
